The announcement text: BRANCH MANAGER
PURPOSE: To lead the branch team to meet or exceed business targets ensuring that company policies*procedures are implemented effectively.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Area Manager
KEY RESULT AREAS:
-To recruit new customers, minimise settled accounts and achieve good levels of paid up recovery.
-Maximise weekly collections.
-To apply agrees credit authorisation procedures, identify potential arrears, implement appropriate arrears management techniques and maximise bad debt recovery.
-To set targets, monitor performance and provide appropriate feedback*support to team members.
- To manage the training and development of each team member.
- To plan human resource requirements in conjunction with the Area manager and recruit all team members.
- Ensure branch systems are implemented to agreed standards.
- To ensure that high standards of risk management are achieved including audit, personal security and health and safety.
- To embrace the `Working Together` Culture.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- General management skill set with a strong operational bias.
- Experience of remote management essential.
- Requires a good level of commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent people management*leadership skills
- FSA Basic Level
